Herschel Boydston

Obituary

Herschel was 56 when he died suddenly on February 18, 2003. He leaves his dear loving wife Donna and best friend and son, Matthew. Herschel will also be missed by his large family and circle of friends including his mom, Violet Boydston of Bellevue, Washington and sisters, Michelle Royalty of Bellevue, Washington and Jean Crecilius of Sequim, Washington. Herschel's Dad (also named Herschel) was a U.S. Navy veteran and he died in 1988. Herschel served in the U.S. Coast Guard and completed forestry studies at Oregon State University. He became a Registered Professional Forester and had a distinguished career in forest management. Herschel was a member of several forestry societies and was a mentor to student and community groups. Recently he was appointed CEO of the

In-SHUCK-ch Council. Herschel was dedicated to his beloved family and friends and as a lifelong outdoorsman, he had a passion and skill for fly fishing. The family would prefer donations to a charity of your choice in lieu of flowers.
