Greg Young ( May 1, 1947 - December, 2018)

 

It is with sadness that I share Greg Young passed a few days before Christmas, 2018. 

Greg spent his time after CHS graduation going to Oregon State, then working and  living mostly in Oregon (Portland, Newport, Corvallis) and briefly in California. Greg was the father of 3 children and  enjoyed traveling and the outdoors. 

On a personal note, I wrestled over 60 different wrestlers in high school including several who went on to wrestle in college, including at Oregon State and Stanford. The toughest match in my life was with Greg. He would not quit. He had the strongest convictions of any person I know for what he felt was right.
