Michael "Mike" Burright, 76, of Oregon City, Oregon, passed away on September 27, 2023. He was born on February 5, 1947, in Corvallis, Oregon. Mike was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend.

Mike was known for his playful personality and zest for life. He had a great sense of humor and always lit up a room with his positive energy and fun. He could be ornery and stubborn but also incredibly kind, warm, and generous.

Mike was well-loved and appreciated by all who knew him.

In his career, Mike served as a pastor, realtor, and was the founder of the Christmas Family Adoption Foundation. Over the last 20 years, his foundation has brought the magic of Christmas to thousands of families, ensuring that children experience the joy, wonder, and hope of the holiday season.

Outside of work, Mike enjoyed spending time with family and friends. He cherished moments with his loved ones and created lasting memories of fun family gatherings, special holidays, camping, hiking, hunting, and fishing. He could also be found reading a good book, working in his yard, or playing video poker.

Mike is survived by his wife, Jan, his children, Richard, Shawn, Jason, Shelley, Suzie, and Jana, as well as 13 grandchildren, and 3 great-grandchildren. He is also survived by two siblings, Ron, and Barb, and preceded in death by six.

To honor Mike's remarkable journey, a Celebration of Life will be held at the Three Rivers VFW Post #1324, at 104 Tumwater Dr, in Oregon City, Oregon, on November 4th, from 12 pm-3 pm. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that charitable donations be made to the Christmas Family Adoption Foundation. Mike Burright is already so deeply missed by his family, friends, and all those whose lives he touched. His legacy of kindness, generosity, and dedication to making the world a better place will continue to inspire others for years to come.
