LINDA JOY MARTIN
1995-Coupeville, Washington
Allergic to computers, Zen and the Art of Internet, Virtual Reality and the anti-christ Bill Gates. I work at Boeing Commercial Airplane as a Computing Analyst and support the customers (British, All Nippon, Qantas, etc.). I get a lot of great calendars; the Saudi calendar is a real challenge to read and has the added bonus of men in skirts.
I live on Whidbey Island and am an independent. I take the ferry to work; and as many days off as I can manage. My time is spent reconnecting with land and wildlife and shielding my numerous pets from the same. The last reunion I was left out of the yearbook because I said my goal was to be on Star Search. I hope I am not censored this year, I really think men should be allowed to wear skirts if they want to. But not blue eye-shadow.

KATE MCDONALD
1995-Los Angeles, California
I left Portland and Tektronix in June 1989 and rode my bicycle down the coast to LA. I spent the summer painting a house and hiking the John Muir and other trails in the Sierras. I had some money left and went to lndia for a couple of months, walked the Annapurna Circuit (the I-5 of Nepal), and spent April and May of 1990 in Australia and New Zealand. I came back to LA for a job, the great weather, and the nearby mountains and deserts.
I work at UCLA Medical Center with computers which for me is a triumph of optimism over reality. I help users learn software (my boss so loves the world that he sends a middle-aged, non-technical woman to dispel people's fear of computing) and write documentation in one job and get information out of a database in another.
For the past four years, l've also worked from time to time with folks in the Spinal Cord lnjury unit at one of the local VA Medical Centers. Wars can do awful things to bodies, but mostly I've seen the results of accidents. Be very careful.

ANN METZER (HOLDER)
1995-Gonzales, California
I was married for 22 years to a man that was a diplomat for the Department of State. As a result, we lived in the Washington, DC area alternating with moves overseas. We lived in China (son born in Hong Kong!), Malaysia, Italy and Taiwan—twice! Of course we did a lot of traveling while overseas.
I am now single and living in California teaching 6th grade in a new school. My son, who is in the 7th grade, lives with me and my 2 daughters are in college. One is a freshman at UC Santa Barbara and the other a junior at Virginia Tech. I have gone full circle from living on a farm and in a small community (Corvallis) to living in large, busy capitals all over the world. I am now back on a farm and a small community. It’s wonderful!

Special Message: I haven’t been back to Corvallis for more than 20 years nor have I seen dear friends. I’m very excited about this reunion. Thank you to all those putting the work into making it happen.

JUDY MIDDLETON (DEFORD)
1995-Corvallis, Oregon
After having spent the last 10 years in the field of dentistry (office manager/dental assistant) I retired last February in order to devote my time to the furnishing of our new “retirement” home on the Willamette. Unfortunately, the wildlife is so incredible here that I’ve spent more time gazing out the windows than I have furnishing the place, and things were especially interesting during the February flooding! We both love travel and hope to do a lot of it in the near future. Our daughter, Heidi, is 22 now and enjoying her career, so we do not anticipate grandchildren any time soon, although we are both ready! We look forward to seeing a lot of old friends at the reunion!
Spouse: Skip DeFord, Co-Owner Middleton Heating/Air Conditioning; Child: Heidi (22)

MARY NUNN (BEUGLI)
1995-Corvallis, Oregon
Summerize 30 years in one paragraph? I wish it wasn’t so easy. Went to OSU for a couple of years after high school and worked in the OSU Research Office as a work-study student. I’m still there, but now I’m Sponsored Programs Officer. Married and divorced (long, sad story). Married again (the happy ending). No kids, but I’m a grandma (once or twice removed) and loving it.
Traded in my mini-van for a mid-life crisis Miata that reminds me of the Sprite I had in college (Yes, I know, it’s trite, but I can’t help that). Planning to retire in 8 years so I can work on my miserable golf game and see the world outside Corvallis (I’ve heard rumors that there is one). I’m also looking forward to seeing which of you got fat or skinny, bald or gray, wrinkled or tucked.
Spouse: Steve Beugli, Evanite Co.; Grandchild: 5 month old grandson.
