Information from Bob Hansen:
I spent the summer of 1968 with George. I believe he died in August, 1972 at the age of 25. I visited his grave site in Morocco in 1980. Accordng to his parents the cause of death was a mysterious traffic accident while sailing around the world with friends.

I looked up George Moser on my genealogy database and found his social security death index. It states that he died in August 1972. George was a larger-than-life character. He served as president of the math club, Mu Alpha Theta. He was gifted in theater, music, and forensic speech. As a member of the Spearmen, he helped rally the Spartan fans to higher spirits, in beanie and white shirt. I remember him playing banjo in a fun little jazz band, in straw hat and armband. He also doodled all over his white "tennie-runners" in English class.
Hope your adventure continues, good sir, wherever your soul now soars.
