Classmate Remembrance
I am writing about a classmate that moved after his Junior
year at CHS, Olen Boston. His family moved to Gresham
where he graduated. I met him at Western View Jr. High.
We stayed in contact all through the years. After he got
out of the Navy when his enlistment was over, he moved
to the Mt. Hood area. He later moved to the coast, owning
and operating the Chevron station north of Yachats for
many years. He died last year (2012). I misplaced the letter with
the actual date and can't remember for sure. I hope it would
be possible to include his name in the list of those that had
passed. It would also be nice to include the flag in recognition
of his service in the Navy.
Thank You,
Bill Johnson
