January 12, 1947 - June 6, 2025

Kenneth Robert "Bob" Johnson, 78, passed away peacefully on June 6, 2025, at Nehalem Valley Care Center in Wheeler, Oregon, with family and friends at his bedside. Born on January 12, 1947 in Salem, Oregon, to Bob and Dorothy Johnson.

Bob graduated from Corvallis High School in 1965 and began a lifelong career in the newspaper industry, serving 33 years as a pressman and press manager at the Corvallis Gazette Times and 14 ½ years at the Albany Democrat-Herald as circulation manager; a career filled with dedication and a commitment to quality. Bob proudly served in the Army National Guard, a foundational part of his early life.

In lieu of services or charitable contributions, the family requests privacy to mourn their loss. Bob's memory will be cherished by those who knew him as a dedicated professional, a family man, and a passionate car lover.
