If I had to describe my life in one word it would be WANDERER.

A brief summary of my goings and comings since the last time we met. After 10+ years working in Portland, my family and I moved to Kansas City in 1997, where we worked for about 5 ½ years. After another year in Iowa, I decided that we needed to “Go West” so we moved to Phoenix in December 2003 for a short time until I found a job in Flagstaff, Arizona where I was the Business Account Manager for the Local TV Cable company selling High Speed Business Internet.

With the 5 children and 11 grandchildren, we are busy just keeping in touch with them all. They are scattered in Albany OR, Sedona AZ, Rowlett TX, and Kansas City MO. The enclosed picture was taken on the 4th of July 2005 and shows me, my wife Kathy and youngest daughter Kimberly.

In May of 2007 I had the opportunity to take a job with COMCAST CABLE, BUSINESS SERVICES GROUP, selling Internet and other cable business products and we moved to Lebanon, Oregon. I now work in the 'MID-VALLEY' every day. It is good to be "home."

Well, packing and moving should be my second job. In August 2008, we took a transfer back to Kansas City. I for the other cable company Time Warner Cable doing the same job that I have done for the past 6 years.

In April 2011 We moved back to Flagstaff, AZ where I worked as a Banker for Wells Fargo Bank. then as a Department Supervisor for Home Depot. Due to health reasons, I left Home Depot, and now drive a city a city bus for the local transit company.

April 30, 2021 I finally retired. We are moving to Salem, Oregon.

Thinking back, I recall trying to play football, but was relegated to JV. Same story for Wrestling, where I had a continual view of the ceiling of the wrestling room. So I tried my hand with the thespians and played SHULTZ in STALAG 17. I still remember Nov 22, 1963 sitting in English class when Kennedy was killed. And choir in the auditorium sitting next to Ron O'Conner in the bass section, and performing Carmina Burina with the OSU choirs, where I eventually got to sing in the OSU Choiralairs under the maestro Robert Walls. And who can forget the sights and sounds of the old cannery on 9th street where George Moser, Carl Taylor and I worked summers. And the bike rides to the coast every spring break where we camped at Beverly Beach for a week. I believe Mark Rampton, Carl Taylor, and others went on those grand adventures.
